Tearoom

Opening Times (April to October)

Friday to Sunday 11am to 4pm
Light lunches served 12pm to 2pm

Situated within the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of the Millichope Walled Garden the tearoom provides visitors with magnificent views of the gardens set against the backdrop of the Shropshire Hills.

The tearoom opened in 2016 in a purpose built timber frame building designed to complement the beautifully restored Georgian glasshouses that it sits alongside, providing a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. We have tables inside and outside.

There is wheelchair access to the tearoom and disabled WC.

We are a quintessential British tearoom serving tea, coffee, cake, toasted teacakes and scones throughout the day. Light lunches are served (quiches, soup, sandwiches) between 12pm and 2pm. Our selection of delicious homemade cakes are varied weekly and we aim to use, where possible, fresh seasonal produce grown in our kitchen garden.

A gluten free option is generally available.

All food and drink is served on beautiful Burleigh Ware that is handmade in England. A selection of Burleigh Ware is available for purchase at the Tearoom.
