Aconitum x cammarum ‘Grandiflorum Album’

A rather beautiful form of the Humber ‘Monks Hood’.  Aconitum ‘Grandiflorum Album’ is not quite a true white, but more of rich Ivory with a hint to green to the flowers.  Adding a touch of drama to the high summer border, much like that gained from using Delphiniums, however with a fraction of the work.

Acontitum are robust, long lived perennials.  We find Aconitum ‘Grandiflorum Album’ a little shorted then some, reaching 1.2-1.5m in our borders, it seldom requires staking.

All parts of toxic if ingested.
