Aster thomsonii
Aster thomsonii is a parent plant of the popular and better known Aster x frikartii ‘Monch’. Aster thomsonii is a little taller and more upright then its offspring but with the same large lavender blue daisy flowers. A highlight of late August and September. Tends to prefer reasonable drainage and a sunny position in the garden. Height 60-70cm – once established diameter 30cm.
