Echinacea pallida

A beautiful species with delicate narrow pale pink petals that hang down to reveal a prominent brown central cone. Echinacea pallida benefits from a gravel mulch to keep off slugs early on and improve drainage round its neck. It needs a sunny position and reasonable drainage. Height 80cm. Flowering in July.
