Euphorbia epithymoides
Euphorbia epithymoides (formally E. polychroma) is always one of the first to flower in our garden. From late April onwards low mounds of acid green flowers are borne (no more then 40cm high). It is always one of the most commented on plants at this time of year and it combines beautifully with Phlox divaricata ‘Clouds of Perfume’, early flowering Thalictrums and of course tulips.
Be careful when handling (i.e wear gloves) because the caustic sap can irritate skin.
