Geranium pratense ‘Cloud Nine’

Geranium pratense ‘Cloud Nine’ – there is a beauty within double flowered forms of Geranium pratense, which always draws me in. Take for example Geranium pratense ‘Laura’ with its pure white flowers which elevates a simple white geranium to something of decadence. ‘Cloud Nine’ is new to our offering this year. We find it the first of the doubles to flower with neatly double pale Lilac flowers.  It is taller than most at 2 feet tall.  Grow it at the front of the border or, alternatively, given the extra height drift it further back amongst taller neighbours. We support our’s with some pea sticks – in case of Summer thunderstorms.
