Kniphofia rufa

Kniphofia rufa is a refined elegant hot poker compared to many cultivated forms. Kniphofia rufa is rarely seen in cultivation yet is a top performer in our garden.  It’s tall upright spikes of tubular flowers have red tips fading down to green at the base. Very beautiful. Height 1 – 1.2m. Needs a sunny position.
