Monarda ‘Gewitterwolke’

Translating into ‘Thundercloud’, ‘Gewitterwolke’, is in our opinion one of the best dark flowered Monarda.  Deep burgundy pink flowers are borne on 1.3m stems all summer long.  Once the flowers have gone over you are left with fabulous seed heads for the winter.

The rich colouring of the flowers combines beautifully with the likes of the tawny orange of Helenium ‘Little Orange’, as well as the palest creamy yellows of Achillea ‘Hella Glashoff’ and Scabiosa ochroleuca.
