Anemanthele lessoniana
The Pheasant Tail Grass. Clumps of bronzey fine foliage with coppery orange streaks. The foliage of Anemanthele lessoniana keeps good colour all year, this is added to when the flowers are borne in late Summer. We encourage seedlings as the mother plant can benefit from being replaced ever 3 years. Tidy the plants in spring by running your hands through the plant removing spent flowers and old foliage. Do not cut the plants back.
Anementhele lessoniana prefers a sunny position, however it is tolerant of dry shade. 60 – 90cm in height.
