Chrysanthemum ‘Cottage Apricot’

Chrysanthemum ‘Cottage Apricot’ was given to us by two lovely customers as a favourite hardy chrysanthemum from their own garden. The flowers are single with golden yellow centres and do not emerge until October – lasting well into November. I was expecting a soft apricot shade but in fact  Chrysanthemum ‘Cottage Apricot ‘ is a vibrant salmon-orange – peach colour! Really lovely however you choose to describe it. This is a hardy perennial chrysanthemum and looks wonderful planted amongst late season grasses such the copper tones of Anemanthele lessoniana. Height 80cm. Prefers a sunny position.
