Heuchera americana ‘Harry Hay’
We were told by a gardening friend that we must grow Heuchera a. ‘Harry Hay’. The reasons being that it was most unlike other Heuchera and would sit beautifully within our more naturalistic style of planting.
We have been absolutely delighted with it. It has some of the biggest leaves of any Heuchera, each leaf reaching unto 20cm across, the leaves are a glossy dark red, with a hint of bottle green. The real pierce de resistance is when it comes into flower. The flower stems can reach unto 1m in height and are topped by simple creamy coloured flowers.
