Sanguisorba officinalis ‘Red Buttons’

A truly excellent Sanguisorba.  Selected by the excellent Dove Cottage Nursery, ‘Red Buttons’ produces masses of thimble sized, deep maroon burrs.  What makes ‘Red Buttons’ so good, is that it is borne on compact plants.  Reaching little more then 50cm.  An excellent candidate for the front of the border.
