Monarda ‘Vintage Wine’

Rarely seen, we have grown this Monarda for many years.  A wonderful rich reddish pink, we love this planted with rich oranges of Helenium ‘Sahin’s Early Flowerer’.

As with all Monardas, they are best planted in rich soil, with plenty of moisture early on in the season.  Mulch with well rotted manure or good garden compost in winter.
