Pennisetum villosum
Pennisetum villosum has some of the most tactile flowers of all the grasses we grow. The flowers are like drooping white feather dusters. It flowers best during a bright sunny Summer – so we hope for good light levels each year for a truly show stopping performance. Cut back in Spring. Pennisetum villosum can be late into regrowth in late April-early May so don’t panic. It needs a sunny spot with reasonable drainage. Its height is approximately 50cm.
