Silphium mohrii

Silphium mohrii is far less imposing then some of its giant towering  Silphium cousins. At 1.2m tall Silphium mohrii is a more usuable height and is very effective for dotting down a border for late Summer colour. It has the most beautiful pale lemon yellow daisy flowers with green flushed centres. It shows remarkable tolerance of hot dry weather.
