Heuchera villosa ‘Brownies’
In recent years I have looked upon Heuchera with new eyes! All to often I have been put off by the multitude of tie dye shade varieties pumped out into Garden centres. However I have somewhat fallen in love with some of the simpler varieties that produce not only handsome foliage, but simple stunning flowers.
Heuchera villosa ‘Brownies’ is one of these Heuchera. Large, handsome walnut brown leaves are borne in 30cm mounds. All summer into autumn a mass of creamy white flowers are borne atop 60cm stems. An ideal candidate for the front of the border.
