A form of the creeping Saxifrage, Saxifraga stolonifera ‘Maroon Beauty’ is a superb plant for ground cover in partial to full shade.  With handsome, glossy red flushed green leaves for much of the year, come summer there is the added benefit of spikes of white/pink flowers.

Saxifraga stolonifera ‘Maroon Beauty’ does best in semi shade with free draining soil.
