Symphyotrichum laeve ‘Black Ice’

Symphyotrichum leave ‘Black Ice’  is a relatively new addition to our garden a a new favourite. The flowers are a cool lilac blue and contrast beautifully with the dark purple flushed foliage and stems in October. We do stake this tall cultivar at 150cm in height. Glorious backlit by late season Miscanthus sinensis ‘Silberfeder’ in Autumn.
