Symphyotrichum ‘Superstar’

A fitting name for this wonderful aster. Symphyotrichum ‘Superstar’ has rich mauve pink flower heads arranged in large domed heads – very showy. It is a bit lax in habit so benefits from staking. Height 1m. Sun or part shade. Looks good planted with the upright spikes of Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Blackfield’.
