Thalictrum lucidum

Thalictrum lucidum – my love affair with Thalictrum continues and as such my collection is ever growing. I am delighted to be able to offer the Thalictrum lucidum for sale this year. I was first struck by the foliage of this gorgeous species which is heavily dissected and very distinctly glossy, most different to other species. Flowering from June onwards it produces a mass of primrose yellow fluffy flowers on stems to 2 m.  In my humble opinion, it is a far superior plant to the more commonly grown Thalictrum flavum subsp. glaucum. Plant in open sunny conditions but richer moisture retentive soils. Will tolerate dappled shade.
