Verbena officinalis ‘Bampton’

A upright hardy perennial Verbena, that creates a mass of dark purple stems and leaves topped with a froth of tiny mauve flowers.  Verbena officinalis ‘Bampton’ is a valuable foliage plant as well as a glorious sight in full flower in July-August. Height 30-40cm. Sunny position. Self seeds true to type.
